OK, here are shapefiles for all the PAs. Hope this helps!

yes, please send me the ones you want me to use, that way there won't be
any discrepancies. Good thinking!

Terri:

I did do some combining of PAs based on discussions with a variety of
people working on the PA teams. But in the case of the Piedmont Blue
Ridge Crystalline I think I received the coverage from Bruce Lindsey and I
assumed it was correct.

Anyway, I am attaching the Piedmont Blue Ridge Crystalline shape file I
received. This makes me think that maybe I should send you shapefiles for
all the aquifers. Would this be helpful?

Mike

Hi Mike.

Sorry to bother you again. I noticed on some of the maps you sent me, the
PAs shown on your maps are not the PA coverages that I have. It looks
like some of the PAs are being combined in your maps.

The one I am having trouble with in particular is the Piedmont Blue Ridge
Crystalline. The public supply wells labeled as being int he Piedmont
Blue Ridge Crystalline don't overlay my principal aquifer coverage from
the GW atlas. Looking at the Ground Water Atlas, it looks like these wells
overly the Blue Ridge Province and the 'Reading Prong'. Do you have a
coverage or shape file of this? Where did you get your map from? Here is
what the coverage I have looks like:

This isn't a map I need to help you with, but ...a map you sent me that I
think is not showing the principal aquifers quite right is the
Piedmont/valley and ridge Carbonate-rock aquifers. It looks like your map
combines the Piedmont, Valley and Ridge, and NY and NE carbonate
aquifers. Here's my version:[attachment "piedvrny_carbonates.jpg" deleted

...still working... let me know if you know a source for the Piedmont BR
Crystalline map.
